About Us
Cruise West Cumbria was founded on 17th July 2003, in the West of the County. The first Cruise known as CWC1 took place on 8th November 2003 in Workington.
Between 2003 and 2016, we held 32 successful Cruises and countless Mini Meets. With a 500 car turnout at what we thought was our 'final' event CWC32, on 6th February 2016.
Nearly 10 years later, on 31st July 2025, we were given an opportunity we couldn't miss!
Now Cruise West Cumbria is Refuelled. 7 months on and we had already held 3 Mini Meets, far exceeding our numbers previously. We have brought back our holographic stickers, reopened a business bank account and we've built up our trust again with local businesses and emergency services and have already had 3 fantastic sponsors.
