No rain and nice dry ground were ideal for smoky burnouts. There was a good turnout with people from up to 50 miles away, and some very well turned out cars. At one count there were 80 cars parked up, but with all the coming and going there were probably a whole lot more.

The police took an interest, but more out of curiosity than anything else. They left the cruise venue alone and we only saw one car getting pulled.

It was a tad chilly, so unfortunately there was not much nudity to be seen, and none of it was female!. The feedback we have had so far has all been positive, with everyone asking when the next cruise will be. All I can say is keep your eyes on the news section and leave us your feedback on the forum. Spread the word and the next one will be even bigger.

Unfortunately due to our crappy camera a lot of quality photos did not come out, particularly the long range shots of rows of cars. If anyone has any good shots, please get in touch so we can add them to the site. At the next cruise we are expecting a professional photographer, so make sure your car is spotless. He is keen to sell some of the pics to a magazine, so you might even get your car in Max Power, Redline, Revs and the like.

Mini by name but not by noise. The ICE in this car could be heard a mile away.

The Novas were out in force as expected.

But with it's highly modified engine, this is no ordinary Nova

It's never too cold to have the top down.

If only Highway Maintenance was as fast as this Nova…..

Time for some burnouts to warm the crowd up.

Nice and smoky.

There is a car in their somewhere!

Now they are queuing up!

This Cavalier did the best burnouts of the night.

Look at him go….

Don't try this at home!

NorthWest Cumbria UFO Research turned up to investigate the strange goings on, in a stunning modified Calibra.

We didn’t see any UFOs.

But there were plenty of bright coloured lights about though.

These guys insisted on an appearance on the website.

So here they are in all their glory.

As expected the police didn’t take long to turn up.

They circled like sharks for a while.

And pulled someone on the road next to the cruise venue. At least they didn’t come in and bother us.

Maybe its because we all hid behind a Transit van! (joke)

How do you get 197BHP out of such a small engine?

A Nova in trouble, hit the gas man…….

That’s more like it!

Another request to appear on the website. The number plate has deliberately not been blurred.

And another. Shame this pic didn’t come out well as this was a nice looking car. Hope it turns up when we have the professional photographer.

Line 'em up. What are all those funny black lines on the ground?

Quote of the night "You won’t see that at the Blackpool Cruise!".

Nice Scooby, shame the picture doesn’t do it justice.

Didn’t manage to get many good long distance shots as you can see.

If anyone has any that are better, please contact us.
