The Donny Show 2008 had been renamed as ISTS, International Styling and Tuning Show and was held at Donnington Park on the 4th to the 6th April 2008. The name change made no difference to the turnout, with hundreds of clubs turning up and most still referring to the show as Donny!. The show followed the same format as in previous years, with the Autoglym Best In Britain Competition, a round of the European Drift Championship, Gumball 3000, a round of the Time Attack Challenge, public track time, plenty of trade stands and of course hundreds of club cars. The biggest change to the show was that the club stands were moved outside the circuit onto a large tarmac area. Although this meant that the dust that plagued the previous shows was no longer a problem, it also meant that there was no access to the inside of the circuit. Not many clubs were able to pitch gazebos, so with many people resorting to sitting in cars the atmosphere wasn't as good as previous years. Thankfully we didn't have to queue for 3 hours to get to the club stands like last year, and there was plenty of space for everyone to fit in. The weather didn't do much to help the atmosphere. A lot of rain on Saturday, snow on Saturday night and the odd hail shower on Sunday dampened most people's spirits. It did make the track time a little more interesting, Donny is known to give very little grip in the wet! Leaving the campsite on the Sunday morning was a challenge, with the snow turning the exit routes to mud and people wheel spinning up the field meant there was a lot of washing and polishing to do on the 2nd day of the show, the Autoglym stand would have had good sales this weekend. Most people had a good weekend, and CWC was well represented with 20 cars on Saturday and 14 on Sunday (including 2 Nissan Cubes from our sponsors JP Imports. A couple of cars went in for some track time, with Dougie's red Civic Type-R becoming famous on U tube from the reaction of the Evo driver trying to follow him. Pictures of the stand and parts of the show are below but there are plenty more pictures of the rest of the show on the forum

Dougie's civic from the inside. The
camera has to be hidden from marshals a couple of times and the
lap is spent stuck behind a slow CRX for most of the time.
