North East Modified Car Show - Sunday 9th September 2007

The North East Modified Car Show was held on the coast of Sunderland and was the last show of the 2007 season for many of our members. The day started out with everyone on the CWC stand meeting at Morrison's car park, not far from the show ground. As soon as we had collected our tickets we joined a long queue to get onto the show field.  From the number of cars going into the show, it looked like it was going to be a good day.

Every car on show was given a number so the public could vote for their ‘best car’.  Once we were in the show, we were directed to our space and started to set up, making sure all the cars could be noticed and there was enough room for people to walk around and admire them.  Most people started to get their cars polished up while other people set up the stand with the flag, banners and our show plates.

We had a good example of seven Cruise vehicles on the stand, with each wanting to show off either their very loud sound systems or their custom bodywork.  Thanks to everyone who turned up to support us on the day.  With a  picnic out, strawberries and chocolate sauce and enough food for everyone to snack on there was something to satisfy everyone's taste buds. We were all able to relax, chill out and have fun making it a great way to finish off a very good and enjoyable show season; thanks to everyone who showed their car with us in 2007 and we hope to see you all next year.  Pictures of the stand are shown below but there are plenty more pictures of the rest of the show in the pictures section of the forum.
