The Cumbria Constabulary Road Safety Day 2007 took place at Carlisle Racecourse on Sunday the 24th June. Once again the Police organised an event to attract a good audience, with The Globe of Death, The Blades Aerobatic Display Team (with full size aircraft), Drag Cars and Bikes, Freestyle Motocross Display, BMX Display Riding and Steve Colley (3 Times British Solo Trials Champion) Trials Display as well as several car club and bike club stands, there was certainly plenty to see. CWC were invited to attend, so we turned up with good selection of our cars, with a total of a dozen barbeques! The day was a great success, and provided people with an excellent opportunity to pick up a few tips on road safety while being entertained by the displays and stands.

We raised £53.20 from a collection from everyone on the stand for the Great North Air Ambulance. Dawn and John with the metallic flake Corsa, aka z20corsa would like to thank everyone from CWC and the general public who donated money towards the British Heart Foundation, they raised £42.00.

Pics of the CWC stand are below but there are plenty more pictures of the rest of the show on the forum
