The RS Owners Club  2007.

It was an early start but we were soon set up and looking forward to a relaxing day at a local show.  The grounds to Heaves Hotel were filled up with a variety of different Ford cars, something for every car enthusiast to see.  This year we had 11 cars on our stand including 3 from Lancaster who joined us on the day.  Going by the forecast we were prepared for the afternoon rain which arrived as predicted and remained for half of the show.  There's one thing that can be said for certain; nobody keeps their cars cleaner than the Ford enthusiasts. These cars have to be seen to be believed, and some of the best bits can only be seen with the help of mirrors and ramps. We felt sorry for the concourse car owners who had spent hours and hours getting their cars spotless only for them to be soaked by the Cumbrian weather.  But, with a good supply of food for the BBQ (thanks to k4cof-orange for bringing the supplies) and our gazebo as shelter, the day was enjoyed by everyone and we will be back again next year to show our support for the Cumbrian RSOC Show.
