A familiar sight around Barrow is this 1999 Ford Focus 1.8 Zetec 5door 'Collection'. Owned by Tony (TonyD on our forum) who also owns Park Road Auto Body. The bodywork, paintwork and stickers make for a very unique look that is a real head turner.

The first thing you notice about this car is the Titan Bonnet. Some people love it, some people hate it, but it certainly gives the car a very distinct look.

The paint is Flash FX blue to red flip paint, which really catches the light. The car also has plenty of holographic stickers to advertise Tony's body shop.

In all, the car took 2 weeks to complete from the standard car.

The headlights have been replaced with Morette quads.

At the rear, an RS spoiler and Afterburner rear lights have been fitted.

To boost performance, a Blue Fun Superchip and K&N induction kit have been fitted. The car now has 139bhp compared to 113bhp standard. The engine bay is also fitted with blue neons.

The car tends to attract a lot of attention, especially when it is surrounded by scantily clad women!

The window tints are graded so they are legal at the front and darker at the back.

17 inch Excite wheels fill the arches.

The mirrors, mouldings and trim have been colour coded to match the body. The door handles have been de-locked.

At the back, the break light has been fitted with a 'Focus' high level brake light cover

The standard exhaust has been replaced with a Powerflow cat back system, to improve performance and give the engine a more distinctive sound.

A set of under blue body neons has been fitted, together with blue under arch neons in the wheel arches. The car looks very different in the dark.

Inside the car there are more blue neons, leather seat covers, and the standard speakers have been replaced by 6x9s.

More modifications are in the pipeline for the future, but as the car is used daily there wont be anything too extreme. A playstation install is planned, and a de-cat pipe is coming soon which should improve the cars performance. The car will also be lowered by about 30mm to improve handling and looks.
